ABOUT THE BOOKS

"Letters to You" is Author Shundilyn Smiths Fourth collection of self-published urban poetry. This collection reflects all the past and present encounters she has had with people today, and what she could have said to them during that moment.
In this book, Shundilyn speaks about being a black woman, highlighting the struggle of black men, deceit, not feeling worthy or comfortable in our own skin, yearning for a healthy relationship, being loved correctly and so much more.

A Peace of Me, is the Author's poetic journey through life. While reading over 150 heartfelt poems in this book, you will find yourself connecting with the text every time a page is turned. Some poems may challenge you to think differently in order to understand the meaning behind it, while others will bring you to tears, because you know exactly how it feels (whatever the situation may be). And that’s enough to let you, the readers know the most important thing of all: that we are human.

Things Left Unsaid, a potent and compelling book trelatable for anyone who feels as if their life is a constant uphill battle, as if they are misunderstood or even the black sheep. These poems may empower you, open up new wounds or encourage you to live your truth. After reading this book, you may have the courage to tell someone, some things that you have left unsaid.
